According to the reports of the Catalan newspaper Sport, Brazilian winger Raphinha is convincing Leeds United to lower their asking price to €50m so he can join Barcelona.
The English club previously asked €60m transfer fee for the 25-year-old winger. It was a mammoth task for Barcelona amid their financial crisis. €50m, however, also requires huge effort for Barcelona as they are targeting to land Robert Lewandowski this summer.
As the Frenchman Ousmane Dembele’s contract will expire on June 30, and he is set to leave the club as a free agent, the Blaugrana may push for Raphinha as a replacement.
However, reports in England have linked the winger with Arsenal. Arsenal seems more capable of meeting the asking price as Raphinha’s future hangs in the balance.
