Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are set to take part in the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic as grass-court preparation for Wimbledon 2022. The Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic is also known as Hurlingham Classic, held the week before the Wimbledon Championships.
When and Where is the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic?
The exhibition event will be held from June 21 to June 26 at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham, London. The WTA and ATP players will play exhibition matches on the first four days. The final two days will feature the ATP Champions tour where the game’s legends will play in a team format.
This event is not a part of the ATP or WTA tour. Nonetheless, it serves an important purpose in the preparation for the Wimbledon Grand Slam.

Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will headline the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic 2022. Other big names including Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, and Felix Auger-Aliassim have already signed. British stars Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu could also participate in the preparatory event.
The 22 times Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal participated in the Hurlingham event multiple times in the past. On the other hand, it will be Djokovic’s first appearance at this event.
Rafael Nadal, who won his 22nd Grand Slam and 14th Roland Garros this season, will play in the Wimbledon 2022.

Rafael Nadal will play his first match against Wawrinka at Hurlingham Club on Wednesday, 22 June 2022. He will play his second exhibition match against Auger-Aliassime on Friday, 24 June 2022. Nadal and Auger-Aliassime met in a 5-set thriller in the Fourth Round of the Roland Garros 2022. Rafael went on to win his 22nd Grand Slam in that tournament.
When will Djokovic Play at Hurlingham?
Djokovic will play his first match against Auger-Aliassime on Wednesday, 22 June 2022. He will play his second match on Friday against an opponent yet to be confirmed.
