Mario Götze is set to join the Europa League Champions Eintracht Frankfurt for a permanent deal from PSV Eindhoven. The €4m release clause has been triggered this afternoon, according to the report from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The 30-year-old forward will sign a three-year contract with the German club on 21 June, which will be valid till June 2025.
The 2014 World Cup hero Mario Götze, who broke millions of hearts of Argentina fans, is preferring to return to his homeland over Benfica and Inter Miami.
