The Tiger-Cats lost to the reigning champions Blue Bombers last week in Winnipeg. They again fell apart in the second half for a 26-12 defeat. Poor play in crucial moments made them suffer this season so far.
Elsewhere, Edmonton Elks are in a similar situation, still struggling to find their feet. They suffered a hammering defeat by 59-15 points in their season opener against the BC Lions. In their home opener in week 2, the Elks lost to the Roughriders by double digits.
Edmonton Elks were 9.5-point underdogs on the road against the Stamps last week. They gave away a 17-13 lead late in the third quarter to lose by 30-23 points.
After finishing at the bottom in West Division last season, the Elks are in a state of rebuilding under head coach Chris Jones.
